Robotic Welding Engineer Details:
Direct Hire position- $
60,000.00 / annually First Shift ( Monday throughFriday from 07:00am to04:00pm )
- Implements lean manufacturing methodologies to reduce setup time, improve parts flow and reduce waste.
- Identifies and drives implementation of ergonomic improvements and cost reduction improvements.
- Design, procurement and installation of automated welding equipment.
- Programming, maintenance and troubleshooting of robotic welding equipment.
- New product development and process input to Design Engineering by completing various manufacturing support related tasks such as tooling, fixtures and validation, assures key characteristics and tolerances are identified.
Robotic Welding Engineer Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- 4-6 years of related experience may.
- Experience with automated robotic welding, particularly Fanuc controls preferred.
- Certified Welding Inspection preferred.
- Tooling design experience utilizing AutoCAD preferred.
- Programing and troubleshooting Omron PLCs preferred.
- This position requires the ability to read mechanical and electrical prints.
- Experience in an automotive manufacturing environment is preferred.
