Forklift Operator Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
17.00 / hour Full Time work availableFirst Shift ( 07:00am to03:30pm )
- Operate sit-down and/or stand-up forklifts to move, load, and stage materials throughout the facility
- Load and unload trucks while ensuring product accuracy and safe handling
- Assist with general warehouse duties including picking, packing, palletizing, and inventory organization
- Perform foam slicing and cutting duties according to specifications
- Accurately read and use a tape measure to ensure proper measurements and cuts
- Support machine operators as needed to maintain production flow
- Conduct routine equipment checks and report any issues or safety concerns
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Follow all company safety guidelines and standard operating procedures
Forklift Operator Qualifications:
- Previous forklift experience required (sit-down and/or stand-up)
- Ability to safely operate material handling equipment in a fast-paced environment
- Must be able to accurately read and use a tape measure (required for foam cutting and production tasks)
- Prior warehouse, manufacturing, or general labor experience preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks throughout the shift
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to be cross-trained on machines and warehouse duties
- Must have reliable transportation
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
