Yard Forklift Operator Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
19.00 / hour Full Time work available- Weekend work required
First Shift ( Monday throughSaturday from 07:00am to03:30pm )
- Yard Forklift Operator:-Reports to the Yard Manager
- Prepare and load trucks picking up material in yard.
- Unload transports and place inventory in correct areas of the yard
- Complete accurate counts for inventory
- Operate an all-terrain forklift in yard efficiently and safely to load trucks going out to job.
- Not on forklift all the time. Some days will be all inventory of materials.
- Use hand tools (band saws, hammers, jack hammer, screw drivers, wrenches, and drills), when not in the yard.
- Keep yard clean and organized-Experience with a forklift in an outdoor yard environment is a plus.
- Will salt sidewalks in winter, water plants in summer.
Yard Forklift Operator Qualifications:
- Experience with an an all-terrain forklift (or willing to learn)
- Experience using hand tools (band saws, hammers, jack hammer, screw drivers, wrenches, and drills).
- Able to accurately do counts for inventory.
- Able to work an occasional 10 hour shifts during week (May come in early or stay late). Saturday overtime 4-6 hours as needed.
- Able to work outdoors in all weather (hot, cold, rain, snow, etc.) in construction yard.
- Resume and Interview required
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
- Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment
