Machinist Trainee Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
19.00 / hour Full Time work availableFirst Shift ( Monday throughFriday from 06:00am to02:30pm )
- Must be open to training at the Harrisburg location for approximately 1 month before transitioning to the Eugene facility
- Perform daily machining activities while learning advanced processes and techniques
- Operate and support CNC machines, lathes, grinders, or similar equipment to produce parts to exact specifications
- Ensure requests are completed on time and returned in proper condition and within tolerance requirements
- Maintain machine shop operational standards, cleanliness, and safety protocols
- Deliver supplies and machined parts to appropriate departments
- Communicate effectively with leads and supervisors to complete tasks accurately and efficiently
- Other duties as assigned
Machinist Trainee Qualifications:
- Prior machining experience required (CNC machines, lathes, grinders, or similar equipment)
- Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of machining processes and precision work
- Ability to read measurements and work within tight tolerances
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to make quick, sound decisions in a production environment
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Team-oriented with solid communication skills
- Reliable, self-motivated, and safety-focused
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
- Pre-employment drug screen (Excluding THC) is required as a condition of employment
