Electronic/Mechanical Assembler Details:
Direct Hire position- $
54,080.00 / annually First Shift ( Monday throughFriday from 06:00am to02:30pm )
- Assembles machinery, fabricated metal products, electrical equipment, sub-assemblies, and more according to directions.
- Interprets technical drawings, schematics, or similar documentation, then builds to those specifications.
- Accurately levels the machine prior to assembly.
- Uses various machines and hand tools (torque wrenches, calipers, micrometers, air tools, gauges blocks, and other precision measuring devices) to accomplish assigned tasks, maintain close tolerances, and ensure proper operation.
- Drills, taps, and ream holes.
- Operates overhead crane to position large components or workpieces. Inventories tools, parts, and supplies: contact materials handler if supplies are needed.
- Assist in machine packing and crating the completed machines.
- Other duties as assigned by the Manager.
- Basic computer skills are required to open and view technical information.
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings and schematics.
- Detail-oriented and consistent.
- Works well as a productive member of a team for on-time shipments.
- Ability to properly maintain and perform repairs on equipment.
- Basic ability in mathematics, reading or writing.
Electronic/Mechanical Assembler Qualifications:
Painting 5S & Lean Manufacturing experience is preferred.
Required:
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role.
- Prolonged periods of standing and performing repetitive tasks for most of the workday.
- Must be able to lift to 50-75 pounds at a time.
- Must have manual dexterity to assemble products or machines as directed.
- Must have excellent hand-eye coordination.
- Ability to differentiate between colored wires, tabs, and electronic components.
- Must wear eye protection and safety footwear.
