Maintenance Technician Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
25.50 / hour Full Time work available- Weekend work required
Third Shift ( Thursday throughMonday from 10:00pm to06:30am )
- Perform highly diversified duties to install and maintain production machines and the plant facility’s equipment
- Troubleshoots conveyor system controls and adjusts/calibrates or repairs as needed
- Assists or performs installations of new or replacement facility equipment
- Perform mechanical skills including mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting and repair of production machines
- Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders
- Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment, and plant facilities
- Utilize materials and tools to create/repair custom equipment to support the operation Perform a variety of plumbing maintenance and carpentry functions
- Use a variety of hand and power tools
- Responsible for following all FDA & GMP’s regulatory requirements and guidelines
- Responsible for following ALL Plant Safety Rules and OSHA Rules
Maintenance Technician Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in related field
- Working knowledge of standard building codes and safety regulations
- Intermediate knowledge of PLC's and sortation controls
- Ability to follow blueprints, technical manuals, and engineering specifications
- Ability to take direction and complete tasks independently or in a team environment
- Possess a strong sense of urgency
- Ability to be on call, and work overtime if required
- Basic word processing, spreadsheet, and email skills.
