We are seeking a skilled Welder to join a metal fabrication team. This role is responsible for welding and assembling metal components according to specifications, ensuring high-quality workmanship, safety, and efficiency in a production environment.

Welder Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
20.00 to $ 25.00 / hour Full Time work availableFirst Shift ( Monday throughSaturday from 06:00am to03:30pm )
- Perform welding operations using MIG, TIG, and/or Stick welding processes
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and welding symbols
- Prepare materials by cutting, grinding, and cleaning metal surfaces
- Align and clamp parts to ensure proper fit-up before welding
- Inspect welds for accuracy, strength, and quality standards
- Operate fabrication tools such as grinders, saws, and drills
- Maintain welding equipment and ensure proper setup
- Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE Work collaboratively with team members to meet production deadlines
Welder Qualifications:
- 1–3+ years of welding experience in a fabrication or manufacturing environment
- Proficiency in MIG welding (TIG and Stick experience a plus)
- Ability to read blueprints and understand welding symbols
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Ability to stand, bend, and lift for extended periods
- Lift up to 50 lbs as needed
- Comfortable working in a shop environment (heat, noise, fumes)
- Knowledge of fabrication and assembly processes
- Ability to perform basic layout and measurements
- Forklift or overhead crane experience a plus
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
