HR Generalist Details:
Contract to Hire position- $
25.00 to $ 30.00 / hour First Shift
- Serve as onsite HR support for our Lehi, UT facility
- Directly provide HR support for company manufacturing leadership and employees
- Partner with the Lab leadership team and cross-functional departments
- Streamline existing administrative operations (employee records, internal databases)
- Create, iterate, and have ownership of site HR policies and procedures
- Coordinate with internal (e.g. recruiting) and external (e.g. insurance vendors) partners
- Ensure legal compliance in HR-related issues
- Serve as the site frontline point of contact by providing information, addressing employee questions, and resolving issues about HR-related matters
- Manage Leaves of Absence, Accommodation Requests, etc.
HR Generalist Qualifications:
- 5+ years experience as an HR Generalist, HR Manager, HR Business Partner or similar position
- Experience leading the HR function for a manufacturing or production workforce - including hourly, nonexempt populations of 200+ employees
- Ability to build rapport and serve as a trusted partner to site leadership and employees; influence and drive HR strategic actions and inclusive culture
- Experience in implementing and enforcing HR policies and processes
- Experience in managing HR investigations and leading site level Employee Relations actions
- Thorough knowledge of and experience applying relevant legal/compliance regulations (ADA, FMLA, EEO, etc)
- Proficiency in GSuite and HR software programs
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Excellent organizational, prioritization, and time management skills
- Thorough knowledge of relevant legal regulations
- Experience working with a fast-growing company
- Experience creating HR policies and processes from the ground up
- Experience supporting employees across multiple shifts/schedules
- Demonstrated ability to get up to speed quickly and begin building at lightning speed
- Proficiency using various HRIS tools (eg UKG)
