Legal Assistant Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
17.00 to $ 19.00 / hour Full Time work availableFirst Shift ( Monday throughFriday from 08:00am to05:00pm )
- Prepare, draft, and proofread legal documents, correspondence, and filings
- Maintain and organize case files, calendars, and deadlines
- Communicate with clients, courts, and opposing counsel professionally
- Conduct basic legal research and gather case-related information
- Assist attorneys with trial preparation and case management
- Handle confidential information with discretion
Legal Assistant Qualifications:
- 1+ years of administrative experience in a legal role required
- Previous experience or knowledge with legal terminology or processes required
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and computer skill
- Able to work efficiently and accurately in fast paced or high stress environment
- Ability to exhibit discretion and keep private matters confidential
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
- Pre-employment drug screen (Excluding THC) is required as a condition of employment
