Welder Helper Details:
Temporary position- $
22.00 / hour Full Time work available- Weekend work required
Various shifts available ( Monday throughSunday from 06:00am to06:00pm )
Welder Helpers will support a skilled welding team. This role is ideal for individuals with a strong work ethic, a commitment to safety, and a desire to learn and grow within the welding trade.
- Assist welders with preparing work areas, gathering tools, positioning materials, and maintaining a clean workspace.
- Operate grinding equipment to prep and finish materials.
- Load, unload, and transport materials and equipment while keeping areas organized.
- Perform general labor duties including heavy lifting and site cleanup.
- Follow all safety policies and PPE requirements,
- Report hazards, and assist with site setup/teardown.
- Maintain clear communication with welders and supervisors to ensure safe, efficient work.
Welder Helper Qualifications:
- Construction, manufacturing or Industrial Background, at least a year
- Ability to lift to 75lbs
- Stand on feet for 12 hour shifts
- Bend, twist, reach and climb
- Use basic hand and power tools
- Know how to read measurements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
- Pre-employment drug screen (Excluding THC) is required as a condition of employment
