Winder Operator
A manufacturing company in Jonesville is seeking a Winder Operator to set up and operate tube winder equipment. This is a 1st shift opportunity in a very clean and friendly work environment.

Winder Operator Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
18.65 / hour Full Time work availableFirst Shift ( Monday throughFriday )
Monday-Thursday 6:15AM-3:00PM, Friday 6:15AM-11:15AM.
- Set up, operate, and run the tube winder according to customer specifications
- Select required paper materials based on customer orders
- Gather appropriate tooling and job-specific supplies
- Lift paper rolls from racks and load them onto the machine
- Adjust the machine for proper glue application
- Monitor product quality throughout the production run
- Move completed orders to the next department
Winder Operator Qualifications:
- Must understand and demonstrate proficiency with fractions and their decimal equivalents.
- Ability to accurately measure materials using calipers and a tape measure.
- Strong mathematical skills.
- Ability to distinguish between colors and different materials.
- HS Diploma/GED Required.
- Strong work history.
- Manufacturing experience.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift paper rolls weighing up to 40 pounds.
- Ability to move cartons and skids of tubes of varying weights to the next production stage.
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
