Welder/Fitter Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
24.00 to $ 30.00 / hour Full Time work availableSecond Shift ( Monday throughThursday from 04:00pm to02:30am )
- Perform welding and fitting tasks on various metal components.
- Interpret and understand complex engineering drawings, welding symbols, and work orders to ensure accurate fabrication.
- Measure, cut, grind, and prepare metal surfaces for welding, ensuring proper fit-up, alignment, and dimensional accuracy.
- Execute high-quality welds using MIG and TIG processes, adhering to industry standards and project requirements.
- Inspect finished welds for quality, integrity, and adherence to specifications, performing rework or adjustments as necessary.
- $24-30/hr based on experience
- Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday
- 2nd shift - 4:00 PM to 2:30 AM
Welder/Fitter Qualifications:
- Ability to stand for extended periods, up to 10 hours per day.
- Capability to lift and move objects weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Excellent physical stamina, coordination, and manual dexterity.
- Proficiency in MIG, TIG and Stick Processes
- Demonstrated ability to accurately read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and various measuring devices.
- Welding hood and gloves are required
- Must be willing to take a weld test
- 2 years Prior experience in pipefitting or with pipe welding applications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
- Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment
