BURNER/LASER OPERATOR Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
18.00 to $ 20.00 / hour Full Time work availableSecond Shift ( Monday throughFriday from 03:00pm to11:00pm )
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Position correct type and size of steel on the burning/laser table
- Program computer or make drawing for desired size and shape of steel
- Monitor the burning of the material
- Remove steel and scrap from burning unit
BURNER/LASER OPERATOR Qualifications:
- Ability to understand the applicable procedures documented in the training program
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to follow written instructions and drawings
- Ability to operate the burning/laser computer and burning/laser unit
- Ability to read blueprints
- Ability to use tape measure and calipers
- Ability to operate lift truck and crane
- Ability to use a magnetic drill and hand grinder
- Welding skills
- High school diploma, training, and/or equivalent experience.
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
