Machine operator Details:
Temporary position- $
18.75 / hour Full Time work availableSecond Shift
**Job Title:** Machine Operator **Job Type:** Temporary **Schedule:** Monday - Thursday, 2:00 PM - 1:00 AM (10-hour shifts)
**About the Role:** ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
•Maintain a clean and safe working environment and follows all Safety and Housekeeping regulations.
•Inspect the quality of material before and after machining to ensure quality standards are maintained.
•Maintains the condition of machines by monitoring fluids and debris buildup to allow the proper functions of the machine to continually operate.
•Makes necessary adjustments to machines and equipment to correct parameters that may move towards the top or bottom of the dimensional parameters.
•Maintains the dimensional check forms and counts to produce to the schedule.
•Identifies container with proper part number to allow for proper traceability.
•Identifies discrepant material and documents for proper disposition of material.
•Able to transact material machined in QAD.
•Shows the ability to identify issues and assist in correcting for a leaner more productive work practice.
Machine operator Qualifications:
QUALIFICATIONS
•High School Diploma or GED Certification.
•5+ years of hands-on experience in machining.
•Ability to read and decipher prints •Intermediate math skills.
•Highly organized and self-motivated •Strong attention to detail.
•Stand for long periods of time.
