HR Generalist Details:
Direct Hire position- $
55,000.00 to $ 75,000.00 / annually First Shift ( Monday throughFriday from 08:00am to05:00pm )
The Sr. Human Resources Generalist manages the day-to-day operations of the Human Resource department and the administration of the human resources policies, procedures and programs. The HR Generalist carries out responsibilities in the following functional areas: Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS), employee relations, benefits, employment and payroll administration.
- Conducts new associate(s) orientation sessions weekly (or as needed) with the goal of communicating HR policies/procedures and welcoming new associates to the company and making their transition as smooth as possible.
- Serves as the primary payroll processing administrator.
- Schedules and ensures the necessary newly hired pre-employment testing is completed prior to orientation (drug screen, physical, criminal background check, credit check etc.).
- Responsible for entering HR data into payroll system (ADP) and HRIS (Oracle) databases, such as new hires, terminations, promotions, transfers, address changes, etc.
- Processes, reviews and reconciles monthly benefit billing statements.
HR Generalist Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in business administration, management or other HR-relevant major, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of five (5) years of related HR management experience, preferably in a manufacturing setting.
- Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) or Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification preferred.
