Heavy Equipment Operator Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
25.00 / hour Full Time work availableFirst Shift ( Monday throughFriday from 07:00am to04:00pm )
- Operate heavy machinery including excavators, backhoes, bulldozers, loaders, and dump trucks
- Perform pre-operation inspections to ensure equipment is safe and functional
- Follow site plans, blueprints, and instructions from supervisors
- Move materials like soil, gravel, rock, and debris
- Grade land, dig trenches, and prepare construction sites
- Conduct basic maintenance and report mechanical issues
- Adhere to safety regulations and company policies
- Work with ground crews and other operators to complete projects efficiently
- Maintain accurate logs of equipment usage and work completed
Heavy Equipment Operator Qualifications:
- Proven experience operating heavy equipment
- Knowledge of construction procedures and safety practices
- Ability to read site plans and grade stakes
- Good hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness
- Physical stamina and ability to work in various weather conditions
- Valid driver’s license (CDL may be required depending on role)
- Certification or training in heavy equipment operation (preferred or required in some roles)
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
- Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment
