CNC Machinist Details:
Direct Hire position- $
17.00 to $ 32.00 / hour First Shift ( Monday throughThursday from 05:00am to03:30pm )
Job Details
- Program, set up, and operate CNC mills and lathes to produce precision parts
- Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, engineering plans, materials, GD&T symbols, and machining parameters
- Program machining operations including setting tool registers, offsets, compensation, and verifying part programs
- Set up machines by installing and adjusting chucks, tools, fixtures, collets, bushings, and attachments
- Verify machine settings by measuring first?run and sample workpieces
- Monitor all machining operations, detect malfunctions, troubleshoot issues, and adjust or reprogram controls as needed
- Perform preventive maintenance and follow manufacturer guidelines to ensure equipment is running efficiently
- Document production activities, quality checks, and shift communication logs
- Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, safe working environment
CNC Machinist Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a CNC Machinist
- Strong understanding of machining principles, various materials, and how material behavior impacts machining results
- Experience with multi?axis machining; 5?axis experience preferred
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proven ability to troubleshoot, problem?solve, and adjust CNC programs confidently
- Ability to follow all company and customer quality standards to produce accurate, defect?free parts
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
