Metal Techician Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
18.00 / hour Full Time work availableFirst Shift ( Monday throughFriday from 07:00am to03:30pm )
As a metal technician, you will work with a variety of metals including stainless steel, aluminum and carbon steel projects. Duties include:
- Operate a variety of handheld metal finishing tools and machinery, including tumblers, belt sanders, and other finishing equipment.
- Assist other machine operators as needed on machinery such as CNC machines: shear and press brake.
- Utilize basic math skills for measurements and calculations.Perform quality inspections using precision measuring instruments.
- Perform delivery driving duties for local customers using company vehicle.
Metal Techician Qualifications:
- At least one year of manufacturing experience preferred. (Willing to train)
- Basic math and mechanical aptitude. measuring skills. and critical thinking abilities. (Test is given at office)
- Ability to use measuring instruments
- The ability to read and understand blueprints and layout drawings is a PLUS (training available),
- Driver's License with no DUI or OWI (Required)
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
- Applicant may be subject to a Motor Vehicle Report
- Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment
