Temp-to-Hire position- $
17.00 / hour Full Time work available- Weekend work required
First Shift ( 08:00pm to04:30pm )
Housekeepers at the Fairfield Inn & Suites Virgin Zion National Park play a vital role in maintaining our high standards of cleanliness. Responsibilities include cleaning guest rooms, sanitizing bathrooms, changing linens, and restocking amenities daily. You will also maintain common areas and report maintenance needs. This role requires physical stamina for lifting, bending, and standing, along with a keen eye for detail.
housekeeper Qualifications:
Physical Stamina and Strength: The ability to stand, walk, bend, and kneel for an 8-hour shift is essential. You must also be able to lift up to 50 lbs and maneuver heavy cleaning carts. Education: Most employers prefer a High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent, though it is not always a mandatory requirement for entry-level roles. Attention to Detail: You must have the "vision ability" to spot minute debris in poorly lit areas and ensure rooms meet strict brand cleanliness standards. Time Management: The capacity to work efficiently to meet daily room quotas while maintaining high quality is critical. Communication Skills: Basic literacy is required to read written instructions and chemical labels. You must also be able to communicate effectively with both guests and teammates. Availability: A willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, is usually required.
