Quality Control Specialist Details:

  • Contract to Hire position
  • $26.00 to $28.00 /annually
  • First Shift
  • Perform quality inspections on finished control panels and electro-mechanical assemblies 
  • Conduct point-to-point wiring verification, continuity checks, and functional testing 
  • Validate builds against electrical schematics, BOMs, and engineering documentation 
  • Ensure compliance with UL508A standards and internal quality requirements 
  • Identify defects, document findings, and support corrective actions 
  • Maintain quality logs, inspection records, and audit documentation
  • Assist with rework and collaborate with production to resolve issues
  • Support continuous improvement efforts and quality standard enforcement

Quality Control Specialist Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in control panel assembly or quality inspection
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical drawings
  • Experience with electrical testing tools and troubleshooting techniques
  • Familiarity with UL508A, NEC, or NFPA standards preferred
  • Knowledge of pneumatics, VFDs, or industrial automation systems is a plus
  • Strong attention to detail with solid documentation and reporting skills
  • Comfortable working with systems up to 480V and following PPE/safety protocols
