Maintenance Mechanic Details:

  • Temporary position
  • $22.00 /hour
  • Full Time work available
  • First Shift (Monday through Friday from 07:00am to 03:30pm)
  • Perform routine maintenance and basic repairs on equipment, vehicles, and facility systems.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and plumbing issues.
  • Maintain accurate service logs and support preventative maintenance programs.
  • Diagnose and repair small handheld tools such as spray guns, air tools, saws, sanders, and grinders.
  • Conduct preventative maintenance to minimize downtime.
  • Perform basic maintenance on company vehicles and heavy equipment (fluid changes, brake checks, belt replacements, general troubleshooting).
  • Safely operate forklifts, telehandlers, skid steers, and excavators.
  • Troubleshoot and repair lighting, switches, outlets, and low-voltage systems.
  • HVAC: Perform inspections, filter changes, and minor repairs.
  • Plumbing: Address leaks, clogs, fixture issues, and basic pipe repairs.

Maintenance Mechanic Qualifications:

  • High school diploma/GED; technical or trade school preferred.
  • 2+ years of mechanical, maintenance, or equipment repair experience in manufacturing or construction.
  • Experience operating mobile equipment (forklifts, telehandlers, skid steers, excavators).
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot multiple systems.
  • Basic knowledge of electrical, HVAC, and plumbing systems.
  • Ability to read manuals, schematics, and technical instructions.
  • Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and strong safety awareness.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time, and work in a team environment.
  • Pre-employment drug screen (Excluding THC) is required as a condition of employment
