Finishing Associate/woodshop
The Finishing Associate supports the wood finishing process by performing a variety of tasks, including material preparation, sanding, staining, and final inspection to ensure quality standards are met. This role plays an important part in maintaining the overall appearance and durability of finished products.

Finishing Associate/woodshop Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
19.00 / hour Full Time work availableFirst Shift ( Monday throughFriday from 08:00am to04:30pm )
- Prepare materials and surfaces for finishing, including cleaning and sanding
- Apply stains, sealants, and finishes according to specifications
- Operate and maintain finishing equipment and tools Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards Identify and correct imperfections or defects
- Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines
Finishing Associate/woodshop Qualifications:
- Previous experience in woodworking, finishing, or manufacturing is a plus
- Basic knowledge of finishing materials, tools, and techniques
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Ability to follow instructions and work in a fast-paced environment
- Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to lift and move materials (up to [insert weight, e.g., 50 lbs])
- Comfortable working with tools, machinery, and finishing chemicals
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
