20.00 / hour Full Time work availableFirst Shift ( Monday throughFriday from 08:00am to05:00pm )
The Bilingual Dispatcher manages daily residential and commercial waste collection operations by serving as the central communication hub between drivers, customers, and operations teams. This role ensures efficient routing, real-time support, and consistent service delivery while maintaining safety and compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily waste collection routes for residential and commercial customers
- Act as primary point of contact between drivers and customers (phone, radio, and digital systems)
- Schedule, track, and adjust routes in real time to address service issues or delays
- Monitor driver activity using dispatch and GPS software to ensure compliance
- Support drivers with directions, customer concerns, equipment issues, and service changes
- Resolve missed pickups, service complaints, and route disruptions promptly
- Maintain accurate records, logs, and service updates in dispatch systems
- Communicate clearly and professionally in both English and Spanish
Bilingual Dispatcher Qualifications:
- Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish (spoken and written)
- Previous dispatch, logistics, or transportation experience preferred
- Strong multitasking and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with dispatch software, GPS tracking, and basic computer systems
- Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with drivers and customers
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
