Warehouse Safety Coordinator Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
27.00 / hour Full Time work availableFirst Shift ( Monday throughFriday from 08:00am to05:00pm )
- Conduct regular safety meetings, engaging toolbox talks, and comprehensive safety training sessions for all warehouse staff.
- Ensure rigorous compliance with OSHA standards and all applicable federal, state, and local safety regulations.
- Perform routine safety inspections and audits to proactively identify potential hazards and recommend effective corrective actions.
- Assist in the thorough investigation of workplace incidents, accidents, and near-misses, preparing detailed reports and implementing preventative measures.
- Maintain accurate and organized safety records, documentation, and training logs.
- Champion a proactive safety culture across all levels of the distribution center.
- Collaborate with management to develop, implement, and update safety policies and procedures.
Warehouse Safety Coordinator Qualifications:
- OSHA 10 certification.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis, tracking, and reporting.
- Strong data entry and record-keeping skills. Ability to stand for extended periods, up to 8 hours per day.
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
