We are seeking a detail-oriented Medical Coding Specialist to support accurate coding and documentation for behavioral health services. This position plays a key role in optimizing reimbursement and maintaining high quality, secure patient records. Onsite or Remote options available. $20-25/hr. to start depending on experience.

Medical Coding Specialist Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
20.00 to $ 25.00 / hour Full Time work availableFirst Shift ( Monday throughFriday from 08:00am to05:00am )
- Review clinical documentation and assign correct ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS codes
- Ensure coding compliance with federal, state, and payer guidelines
- Support accurate and timely reimbursement processes
- Maintain secure, organized, and high-quality patient records
- Collaborate with billing teams and clinical staff as needed
Medical Coding Specialist Qualifications:
- Previous medical billing/coding experience (behavioral health or outpatient preferred)
- Certification: Certified Professional Coder (CPC) required
- Knowledge of Medical terminology, anatomy, and standardized coding systems
- Strong attention to detail Analytical thinking Proficiency with EHR software
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
- Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment
