We are seeking a dependable Knife Grinder to join our production team at a local mill in White City. This position focuses on sharpening and maintaining cutting tools while supporting general production needs in a fast?paced wood?manufacturing environment.

Knife Grinder Mill Worker Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
16.00 to $ 17.00 / hour Full Time work availableFirst Shift ( Monday throughFriday from 06:00am to02:30pm )
- Set up and operate grinding machines to sharpen, straighten, and smooth knives, blades, and cutting components.
- Inspect tools for proper angles, sharpness, and quality before returning them to production.
- Maintain grinding equipment, perform basic troubleshooting, and ensure safe operation of all machinery.
- Record sharpening cycles, tool changes, and maintenance activities with accuracy.
- Assist production teams by preparing cutting tools and supporting workflow needs by performing additional duties as assigned.
Knife Grinder Mill Worker Qualifications:
- Experience sharpening or maintaining knives, blades, or cutting tools preferred.
- Mechanical aptitude and comfort using hand and power tools.
- Woodshop or manufacturing background strongly preferred.
- Ability to lift and move materials as part of daily production tasks up to 50lbs.
- Basic computer knowledge and strong attention to detail.
- Wage depends on experience.
- Pre-employment drug screen (Excluding THC) is required as a condition of employment
