We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Lead Press Brake Operator to join our dynamic fabrication plant team on the A Shift. This role is essential for producing high-quality metal components through precision bending and forming. Lead Press Brake Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
30.00 / hour Full Time work available- Weekend work required
First Shift ( Monday throughThursday from 06:00am to03:30pm )
- Machine Operation & Setup:
- Set up, operate, and troubleshoot CNC press brakes. This includes selecting appropriate tooling, loading materials, and programming or editing controls to achieve precise bends. Optimize machine performance and processes for efficiency.
- Blueprint Interpretation:
- Accurately read and interpret engineering blueprints, schematics, and production drawings to determine dimensions, bending sequences, and material specifications.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough inspections of finished parts using precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges to ensure they meet exact specifications and quality standards, identifying and addressing any defects.
- Maintenance & Housekeeping: Perform routine preventative maintenance, cleaning, and basic troubleshooting of the press brake machinery. Report complex issues to maintenance staff promptly.
Lead Press Brake Qualifications:
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Previous press brake operation experience in manufacturing is necessary.
- Experience with CNC press brakes and programming is preferred.
- Vocational training or certification in metal fabrication is a plus
- Previous experience in a leadership role
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
