2nd Shift QC Packer - Indirect
The QC Pack is responsible for performing quality control tasks such as line clearances, batch record verification, and maintaining logs. It includes managing sampling, labeling, and the hold and release of raw materials and finished products. The position ensures compliance with GMP, FDA, SQF, and other food safety standards.

2nd Shift QC Packer - Indirect Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
16.50 / hour Full Time work available- Weekend work required
Second Shift ( Tuesday throughSaturday from 02:00pm to10:00pm )
Performs line clearances and verifies all required checks in batch production records (e.g., batching, weighing, packaging, X-ray, waste). Reports discrepancies to the Quality Supervisor and issues bulk packaging labels as needed. Assists with sampling and retention of raw materials, and manages hold/release of raw materials and finished products. Maintains logs (cleaning, calibration), performs ATP tests when required, and enforces GMPs, safety, sanitation, and food safety standards (FDA, SQF, NFC, Orthodox Union).
2nd Shift QC Packer - Indirect Qualifications:
1. Minimum Education (or substitute experience) required: • HS degree or GED equivalent 2. Minimum Experience required: • Entry level experience in quality with 6 months to 1 year of experience • Familiarity with GMP & batch records with some computer skills • Minimum of 6 months years with pick & pack in a fast-paced environment • Food Handlers card required 3. Skills Required: • Excellent communication, written and grammatical skills • Ability to read, speak and write in English • Ability to follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) • Proficient in Microsoft Office, (Excel, Word, etc) Exposure to food allergens, wheat, nuts, coconut, soy products
