Aerospace Lead Metrology & Inspection Technician Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
30.00 to $ 35.00 / hour Full Time work available- Weekend work required
Various shifts available ( Wednesday throughSaturday from 05:00am to04:30pm )
- Perform advanced inspection and metrology work using scanners (FARO, Romer, Creaform, GOM, etc.) and 3D software (PolyWorks, Zeiss). Deliver accurate inspection files, data, and reports to ensure compliance with engineering requirements.
- Lead by example through direct hands-on inspection work (at least 50% of shift). Receive and provide clear shift handoffs with both written and verbal updates to maintain continuity.
- Prioritize and delegate daily tasks, balancing team capacity and operational needs. Conduct spot checks, provide feedback, and uphold high-quality standards across the team.
- Mentor and train peers, including onboarding of new inspectors and cross-training initiatives.
Aerospace Lead Metrology & Inspection Technician Qualifications:
- Associate degree or higher in a technical field, or equivalent work experience.
- Prior experience in a lead, mentoring, or training capacity.
- Background in cross-functional collaboration with Quality, Engineering, and Production teams.
- Experience in regulated or high-performance manufacturing environments. Applicant may be subject to a background check
