We are seeking an experienced Metal Fabricator to join our team in a large-scale custom fabrication shop. This role involves working on custom projects, requiring strong blueprint reading skills, hands-on fabrication experience, and the ability to operate a variety of shop equipment.

Metal Fabricator Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
20.00 to $ 25.00 / hour Full Time work available- Weekend work required
First Shift ( Monday throughThursday from 06:00am to03:30pm )
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and job specifications
- Fabricate metal components for custom, large-scale projects
- Operate overhead crane to safely move materials and assemblies
- Perform tack welding and assist with fitting and assembly
- Use a variety of shop tools and equipment (saws, grinders, drills, etc.)
- Measure, cut, and shape materials to precise specifications
- Inspect finished work to ensure quality and accuracy
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment
Metal Fabricator Qualifications:
- Previous experience in metal fabrication (custom or large-scale preferred)
- Strong ability to read and understand blueprints
- Experience operating an overhead crane
- Proficiency with common fabrication tools and machinery
- Basic welding experience (tack welding)
- Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship
- Ability to stand, bend, and work in a shop environment for extended periods
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
