Fiber Optic Assembly Technician
Seeking a highly skilled Assembly Operator to perform advanced fiber optic cable and connector assembly, testing, and termination in a cleanroom manufacturing environment.

Fiber Optic Assembly Technician Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
25.50 to $ 30.50 / hour Full Time work availableVarious shifts available
- Perform advanced fiber optic cable and connector assembly, termination, and testing
- Polish, inspect, and test single? and multi?fiber assemblies (IL/RL, visual, EFG, IPC)
- Set up and operate fiber optic routing, coating, over?molding, and test equipment Support prototype, NPI, and pre?release product builds
- Use optical and electronic test equipment to verify product performance
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and perform minor repairs
- 1st shift - 7 am to 3:30 pm
- 2nd shift - 3 pm to 11:30 pm
- Weekend shift - 7 am to 7 pm
Fiber Optic Assembly Technician Qualifications:
- Minimum 1 year of Fiber Optic Assembly (required)
- Advanced skill in fiber optic cable and connector assembly, testing, and termination (required)
- Ability to read and follow drawings, prints, and work instructions (required)
- Proficient with optical and electronic test equipment (IL/RL, power meters, DMM, oscilloscope)
- Strong hand and eye coordination and attention to detail for precision work
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
- Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment
