Network Engineer Details:
Direct Hire position- $
100,000.00 to $ 115,000.00 / annually First Shift
- Design, configure, and troubleshoot IP based networks with a focus on BGP routing in multi homed environments
- Implement and maintain IPv6 migration strategies including dual stack configurations
- Implement and manage MPLS networks for traffic engineering and VPN services
- Integrate and optimize DWDM systems for high capacity fiber transport
- Administer Cisco routers, switches, and firewalls
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Network Engineer Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science IT Electrical Engineering or related field or equivalent experience
- 5 plus years of experience in IP network engineering with expertise in BGP IPv6 MPLS route reflectors and DWDM
- Familiarity with NETCONF YANG REST APIs and automation tools
- Excellent analytical and communication skills
- Ability to work independently
- Valid driver license required
