Slitter Machine Operator Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
20.00 to $ 22.00 / hour Full Time work availableSecond Shift ( Monday throughFriday from 02:00pm to10:00pm )
- Operate and set up slitting machinery to meet specified widths and production requirements.
- Inspect materials, perform quality checks, and document approvals or corrections.
- Load coils, monitor material flow, and maintain accurate production records.
- Communicate with team members to support workflow and proper product labeling.
- Follow all safety procedures and assist with housekeeping and maintenance tasks.
Slitter Machine Operator Qualifications:
- Experience operating slitting machines or similar production equipment.
- Ability to read work orders, production schedules, and follow quality standards accurately.
- Skilled in using measuring tools such as micrometers and tape measures; experience with forklifts or jib cranes is helpful.
- Strong focus on safety, quality, and minimizing material waste during production.
- High school diploma or GED preferred, but relevant experience or training is also considered.
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
