Forklift Driver - Lumber Details:
Contract to Hire position- $
20.00 / hour First Shift
- Operate forklifts to load and unload lumber, building materials, and finished products.
- Stage materials for deliveries and production according to schedules and work orders.
- Inspect materials for damage and verify quantities before loading.
- Maintain a clean and organized yard to ensure safe operations.
- Perform daily forklift inspections and report any mechanical issues.
- Follow all safety procedures, including PPE requirements and OSHA guidelines.
- Assist with general yard duties as needed, including material handling and cleanup.
Forklift Driver - Lumber Qualifications:
- Previous forklift experience required (lumber yard or building materials experience preferred).
- Valid forklift certification or ability to obtain certification.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Reliable attendance and ability to work as part of a team.
