Legal Assistant/Family Law Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
17.00 / hour Full Time work availableFirst Shift ( Monday throughFriday from 09:00am to05:00pm )
- Work directly with attorney and clients. Communications with other law offices and courts.
- Draft legal correspondence and routine family law motions and pleadings. Maintain deadline reminders and calendaring system.
- Assist attorney in preparing for mediations, hearings, and trials. Organize and maintain documents in client physical files and electronic filing system.
- Review, organize, redact approriately, bates stamp and assemble client documents. Scheduling, court e-filins, mailings, and other admin0related tasks. Assist as needed in client meetings and document signings.
Legal Assistant/Family Law Qualifications:
- MUST HAVE 1 year experience as a legal secretary/receptionist. Experience in family law preferred.
- Excellent professional interpersonal communication skills.
- Proficient in MS Office programs. Legal writing and research skills.
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and privacy and independantly.
- Highly organized and detail oriented.
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
- Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment
