2nd Shift Maintenance Mechanic


2nd Shift Maintenance Mechanic – Troubleshoot equipment, weld, fabricate, repair machinery, and keep production running safely. Must have electrical experience as well!

2nd Shift Maintenance Mechanic Details:

  • Direct Hire position
  • $41,600.00 to $62,400.00 /annually
  • Second Shift (Monday through Friday from 02:00pm to 10:30pm)

Maintains and improves company facilities, support systems, lab and production equipment, with the primary focus being on safety and equipment reliability.

  • Adhere to company policies and procedures in carrying out maintenance assignments
  • Schedule, plan and perform corrective maintenance duties as directed by the maintenance Lead, Supervisor, and/or Manager
  • Respond to immediate needs as required to maintain safety, quality, and equipment reliability
  • Perform facility and equipment installations and modifications under the direction of engineering.
  • Experience with small panel assembly and wiring installation
  • Repair machinery
  • Perform preventive maintenance duties
  • Perform minor machine modifications
  • Perform metal fabrications, welding, flame cutting, sawing and drilling

2nd Shift Maintenance Mechanic Qualifications:

  • Two years' experience as an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic with training and experience in facilities maintenance, machinery repair, metal fabrication, welding, flame cutting, parts fabrication with machine tools, preventive maintenance services; repair and installation experience with electrical, industrial plumbing, hydraulic, pneumatic, HVAC, equipment rigging and instrumentation systems
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Driver’s license and ability to operate a forklift
  • Mechanical aptitude Familiarity with NEC
  • Code Knowledge of Safe Electrical Practices, as outlined in NFPA 70E
  • Strong organizational, planning, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Dexterity and ability to operate power, machine and equipment moving tools
  • Must be capable of lifting 100 lbs.
