Licensed Plant Electrician Details:
Direct Hire position- $
37.22 to $ 40.22 / annually Full Time work availableVarious shifts available
- Schedule includes overnight hours with weekends.
- Perform highly skilled electrical maintenance tasks, including installation, repair, and preventive maintenance of electrical machinery and systems.
- Maintain and troubleshoot equipment such as AC/DC motors, drives, pneumatic systems, hydraulic machinery, conveyors, packaging systems, instrumentation, and PLC controls.
- Analyze equipment failures to determine root causes during downtime and execute effective repairs to restore operational efficiency.
- Follow lockout/tagout procedures and uphold strict safety standards to ensure a safe work environment.
- Maintain excellent housekeeping practices and keep detailed records of maintenance activities using digital tools.
Licensed Plant Electrician Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Minimum of four years of stable industrial maintenance experience or equivalent technical or vocational training.
- Valid electrical Oregon or reciprocal to Oregon license.
- Knowledge of DC/AC motors, motor controls, VFD and servo drives, power distribution, process instrumentation, PLC controls, HMIs, and industrial networking.
- Familiarity with CMMS systems, mechanical systems, and electrical safety regulations such as NEC and NFPA70E, including LOTO and Arc Flash safety.
- Skilled in troubleshooting with multimeters, oscilloscopes, and megohmmeters.
- Comfortable using computers for documentation, record?keeping, and troubleshooting.
- Able to work in extreme temperatures.
- Able to climb ladders and catwalks.
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds and perform other physically demanding tasks.
