Quality Inspector Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
17.00 to $ 20.00 / hour Full Time work availableFirst Shift ( Monday throughThursday from 05:30am to04:00pm )
- Collect and select samples of machined parts for inspection.
- Read blueprints and inspection data sheets to determine specifications, inspection and testing procedures, and measuring instruments required.
- Measure dimensions of products to verify conformance to specifications, using instruments such as indicators, micrometers, and optical measurement systems.
- Write test or inspection reports describing results.
- Label parts containers with respect to their inspection status.
- Verify the results of outside processing of parts, such as grinding, plating, and heat treating.
- Assist with gage control and calibration.
Quality Inspector Qualifications:
- High school diploma minimum.
- 1 to 3 years minimum as a mechanical quality inspector with understanding of blueprints, gages, calibration, and measurement techniques.
- Good math skills and understanding of GD&T symbols.
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
- Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment
