Quality Technician
We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Technician for a 1st shift position in the Jackson area. In this role, you will inspect finished parts to ensure they meet customer specifications and quality standards. The ideal candidate will be proficient in operating a Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) and demonstrate strong quality inspection skills.

Quality Technician Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
23.00 to $ 28.00 / hour Full Time work availableFirst Shift ( Monday throughFriday from 07:00am to03:30pm )
- Perform dimensional and visual inspections of raw materials, in-process components, and finished products against engineering specifications and quality standards.
- Operate and program Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) to accurately measure complex parts and verify critical dimensions.
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and other technical documents to ensure product compliance.
- Document inspection results thoroughly and maintain accurate quality records.
- Identify, quarantine, and report non-conforming materials or products, initiating corrective action processes as needed.
- Collaborate with production and engineering teams to address quality issues and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Quality Technician Qualifications:
- Proficiency in operating and ideally programming a Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM).
- Demonstrated experience as a Quality Inspector in a manufacturing setting.
- Strong understanding of technical drawings, blueprints, and geometric dimensioning & tolerancing (GD&T).
- Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
- Ability to use various measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges).
- HS Diploma/GED Required.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to lift and move objects up to 25 pounds occasionally.
