2nd Shift Machining Supervisor Details:
Direct Hire position- $
65,000.00 to $ 80,000.00 / annually - Weekend work required
Second Shift ( Monday throughFriday from 02:00pm to10:30pm )
Supervisors in the machining department will be tasked with maintaining workflow as directed by the planning department and customer needs. They will be responsible for the interviewing, hiring, and complete training of all new employees as needed to keep their shift running at full capacity. They are also tasked with ensuring that their assigned employees are aware and following all documented rules and regulations as provided in the employee handbook and code of conduct.
- • Performs activities of workers supervised
- Analyzes job scope and engineering prints to determine information such as material to be used, type of operations and sequence of operations required
- Maintains time and production records and assigns tasks based on production requirements
- Process all work orders, which includes developing manufacturing methods, ordering materials, and programming.
- Setup and trouble shoot machine operation
- Inspect Bill of Material and Job Orders for completeness
- Demonstrate continuous effort to improve efficiency while working cooperatively with other team members.
2nd Shift Machining Supervisor Qualifications:
- • 7-10 years minimum CNC machining and programming experience
- Ability to read documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with supervisor and co-workers.
- Competent with more advanced operations or production processes.
- Knowledge of general computer programs including Microsoft Office products, e-mail and the Internet.
- Ability to add and subtract two digits numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's.
- Perform operations using units of weight measurement, volume, and distance.
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
