Elwood Staffing is hiring an Extrusion Machine Operator for a manufacturer in the Lancaster area.

Extrusion Machine Operator Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
24.52 to $ 26.97 / hour Full Time work availableVarious shifts available
- 12-hours work days (6AM-6PM or 6PM-6AM)
- Days: 2 on, 2 off, 3 on, 2 off, 2 on, 3 off
- Maintain operation of multiple line, including loading gaskets and packaging end product
- Program Extrusion machine
- Operate production equipment and control dimensions to maintain specifications
- Inspect, measure, and record dimensions using various measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.)
- Cut and band scrap to maintain a clean and safe work environment
Extrusion Machine Operator Qualifications:
- Knowledge of calipers and micrometers and the ability to add/subtract 2 and 3 digit numbers
- Ability to effectively communicate with management and employees at all levels
- Previous machine operating experience, extrusion operating is a plus
- Ability to regularly lift up to 50 pounds
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
- Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment
