Upholstery Technician Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
17.00 to $ 23.00 / hour Full Time work available- Weekend work required
First Shift ( Monday throughFriday from 07:00am to04:30pm )
- Assembling, padding, covering, and finishing upholstered textile products according specifications, quality standards, and production schedules.
- Attention to detail, manual dexterity, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining safety and quality expectations.
- Measure, cut, and apply fabric, vinyl, leather, or other materials to textile products.
- Operate hand tools, pneumatic tools, and industrial sewing equipment as required (e.g., staple guns, sewing machines, cutters).
- Inspect finished products
- Maintain consistent production output while meeting quality and efficiency goals.
- Follow all safety procedures, machine guarding requirements, and OSHA guidelines
- Keep work area clean, organized, and free of hazards.
- Report material defects, equipment issues, or quality concerns to supervision promptly.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support production operations.
Upholstery Technician Qualifications:
- Read and follow work orders, patterns, specifications, and production instructions.
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Previous upholstery, sewing, furniture manufacturing, or textile production experience required.
- Ability to use basic hand tools and production equipment safely and effectively.
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team.
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
