Metrologist Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
22.00 to $ 35.00 / hour Full Time work availableFirst Shift ( Monday throughFriday )
- Conduct complex calibration procedures on a wide range of measurement instruments, ensuring precision and strict adherence to internal, industry, and regulatory standards
- Lead and execute small-scale metrology-focused projects, effectively coordinating resources, managing timelines, and ensuring successful project completion
- Serve as a subject matter expert, providing expert guidance, training, and problem-solving strategies to team members on various metrological techniques and equipment
- Develop, implement, and maintain robust quality control protocols and procedures to guarantee the highest level of measurement accuracy, reliability, and repeatability across all operational processes
- Accurately analyze complex measurement data, interpret results, identify trends, and prepare comprehensive, clear reports to support critical informed decision-making and continuous improvement initiatives.
Metrologist Qualifications:
- Proficiency in using a Tape Measure with high accuracy
- Strong understanding of metrology principles and practices
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
- Hands-on experience with Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) operation and programming
- Proven experience in various Calibration techniques and methodologies
- Proficiency in using precision measurement tools such as Micrometers and Calipers
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
