QA Lead Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
22.00 / hour Full Time work availableSecond Shift ( Monday throughFriday from 01:00pm to09:30pm )
- Lead and execute all quality assurance activities and procedures during the designated swings shift.
- Ensure strict adherence to all governmental regulations, including OSHA, FDA, and HACCP principles, as well as Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) within the food processing environment.
- Conduct thorough quality inspections, audits, and testing, meticulously documenting all findings and observations.
- Develop, write, and maintain comprehensive quality reports, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and other relevant technical documentation.
- Effectively present complex quality data, findings, and improvement recommendations to management and cross-functional teams.
QA Lead Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four year College or University in Food Science, Biology, or a closely related scientific field.
- Strong foundational knowledge of governmental regulations pertinent to food processing operations, including OSHA, FDA, and HACCP principles, combined with a robust understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
- Demonstrated personal computer skills, including strong proficiency with spreadsheet software (e.g., Microsoft Excel)
- Exceptional verbal communication and presentation skills, capable of effectively conveying information and responding to questions from various groups, including management.
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.
- Prior experience as a Production Line Worker. Previous experience as a Quality Inspector.
