QA Lead Details:

  • Temp-to-Hire position
  • $22.00 /hour
  • Full Time work available
  • Second Shift (Monday through Friday from 01:00pm to 09:30pm)
  • Lead and execute all quality assurance activities and procedures during the designated swings shift.
  • Ensure strict adherence to all governmental regulations, including OSHA, FDA, and HACCP principles, as well as Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) within the food processing environment.
  • Conduct thorough quality inspections, audits, and testing, meticulously documenting all findings and observations.
  • Develop, write, and maintain comprehensive quality reports, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and other relevant technical documentation.
  • Effectively present complex quality data, findings, and improvement recommendations to management and cross-functional teams.

QA Lead Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four year College or University in Food Science, Biology, or a closely related scientific field.
  • Strong foundational knowledge of governmental regulations pertinent to food processing operations, including OSHA, FDA, and HACCP principles, combined with a robust understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
  • Demonstrated personal computer skills, including strong proficiency with spreadsheet software (e.g., Microsoft Excel) 
  • Exceptional verbal communication and presentation skills, capable of effectively conveying information and responding to questions from various groups, including management.
  • Ability to occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.
  • Prior experience as a Production Line Worker. Previous experience as a Quality Inspector.
  • Applicant may be subject to a background check
