CNC Machinist
We are seeking an experienced CNC Machinist with strong setup capabilities and proficiency in FANUC controls. This is not an entry-level operator position. We are looking for a self-sufficient machinist who can perform advanced setups, make program edits, maintain tight tolerances, and contribute to continuous process improvement. If you can read blueprints, understand tooling, adjust offsets, and run complex parts with minimal supervision — we want to speak with you.

CNC Machinist Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
18.00 to $ 24.00 / hour Full Time work availableFirst Shift ( Monday throughFriday from 08:00am to05:00pm )
- Perform advanced setups on CNC lathes and/or mills (complex parts and new programs)
- Safely load and unload castings and raw materials
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Maintain tight tolerances using precision measuring instruments and gages
- Perform geometry and tool wear offsets
- Edit programs and adjust tool paths when needed to maintain blueprint dimensions Select and identify proper cutting tools, inserts, grades, chip formers, and fixtures Perform daily machine cleaning and light preventative maintenance
- Follow ISO standards, quality policies, and safety procedures
- Provide feedback for process improvement Train and support team members as needed Communicate professionally with team members and leadership
CNC Machinist Qualifications:
- Proven experience performing full CNC setups (not just operating)
- Proficient with FANUC controls
- Strong blueprint reading skills
- Solid understanding of tooling and cutting parameters
- Experience holding tight tolerances
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong work ethic and leadership mindset Flexible schedule when production demands require it
