Inventory Control Clerk - 1st Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
18.00 to $ 20.00 / hour Full Time work availableFirst Shift ( Monday throughThursday from 07:30am to05:30pm )
This role is crucial for ensuring efficient material flow, accurate inventory, and precise shipping, combining administrative duties with hands-on responsibilities.
- Verify, maintain, and accurately document all incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Pull and stage finished goods for shipment as directed.
- Ensure outgoing containers are properly labeled with correct information and shipping instructions.
- Examine containers to confirm adherence to required specifications.
- Post weights, calculate shipping charges, and affix applicable postage.
- Count, measure, and weigh shipments, documenting any discrepancies.
- Safely operate mechanical lifts to load and unload materials from trucks and containers.
Inventory Control Clerk - 1st Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Customer Service Representative with strong communication skills.
- Familiarity with shipping processes, including export and import procedures.
- Proficiency in 10-key data entry by touch and general data entry skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented warehouse environment, performing physical tasks as required.
