Welder Details:

• Temp-to-Hire position
• $19.00 to $23.00 /hour
• Full Time work available
• First Shift (Monday through Friday from 06:00am to 04:30pm)

•Associates will need sufficient welding skill/experience to pass weld test. Weld test consists of demonstrated skill in:oFlux welding oMIG and “Stick”oVertical, Overhead and horizontal welding (positional welding)•This is not a climate controlled facility – it is hot in the summer, cold in the winter. Most work in done inside the shop, however associates may be required to perform some tasks outside the shop (in the elements)•Must be mechanically inclined – they will weld 20% of the time, the other 80% of the time they perform maintenance and repair on railcars to consist of railcar body repair (patching, grinding, painting), troubleshooting moving parts (doors, railcar connection assemblies), repair & replace railcar frames, etc•Associates must be able to obtain FRA welding certification – after they are hired on the company will pay for them to obtain this credential•Job has a very long learning curve, client is only interested in individuals that are looking for a career.
