Lab Technician Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
18.50 / hour Full Time work availableFirst Shift ( Monday throughFriday from 08:00am to04:30pm )
- Operate machines used in lens surfacing, coating, edging, polishing, and finishing
- Load materials, chemicals, and lenses into equipment as required
- Prepare lenses for processing (blocking, taping, tray setup, etc.)
- Mount, drill, edge, and tint lenses to fit frames properly
- Clean and maintain machines and workstations daily
Lab Technician Qualifications:
- Ability to perform multiple manufacturing tasks or specialize in one area
- Strong attention to detail and quality standards
- Reliable attendance and willingness to work overtime
- 3–5 years manufacturing or production experience
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred
- Previous experience operating production machinery or working in a technical manufacturing environment is preferred
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
- Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment
