2nd Shift Slitter Production Assistant Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
19.00 to $ 20.00 / hour Full Time work availableSecond Shift ( Monday throughFriday from 02:00pm to10:00pm )
- Assist the Slitter Operator with machine setup, adjustments, and overall production support.
- Load, align, and secure coils while handling materials throughout the slitting process.
- Monitor equipment and workflow, addressing minor issues to keep production running smoothly.
- Manage scrap materials and maintain a clean, organized, and safety-focused work area.
- Support final product inspection, weighing, and labeling to ensure accurate, quality output.
2nd Shift Slitter Production Assistant Qualifications:
- Ability to reliably work the full 2nd?shift schedule (Monday-Friday, 2:00 PM-10:00 PM).
- Must provide and consistently wear steel-toe boots and required PPE.
- Strong commitment to safety with the ability to follow all manufacturing safety procedures.
- Preferred: experience assisting with slitting operations or operating a sit?down forklift.
- Must be fluent in English (Spoken & Written)
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
