We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical & Instrumentation Technician to support manufacturing operations on night shift. This role is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and improving electrical, instrumentation, controls, and automation systems in a fast-paced production environment.

Electrical & Instrumentation Technician Details:

  • Direct Hire position
  • $44.47 /hour
  • Third Shift (Sunday through Sunday from 05:30pm to 06:30am)
  • Inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical, instrumentation, controls, and automation equipment and software
  • Perform preventative maintenance, work orders, lubrication, and equipment changeovers to maximize plant performance
  • Troubleshoot and maintain power distribution systems, motor and motion controls, PLC systems, and SCADA platforms
  • Work within platforms such as Studio5000 / Logix5000, FactoryTalk ME & SE, Ethernet/IP networks, and motion control systems
  • Utilize electrical schematics, drawings, and technical documentation to complete repairs and preventative maintenance
  • Maintain and properly operate electrical testing equipment
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, GMP requirements, and regulatory guidelines
  • Identify root causes of breakdowns and implement corrective and preventative actions using continuous improvement tools
  • Create and update SOPs, job aids, and maintenance documentation
  • Track maintenance activities, parts usage, and labor hours within electronic systems

Electrical & Instrumentation Technician Qualifications:

  • Associate degree or technical training in Electrical Technology, Industrial Automation, Mechatronics, or related field preferred
  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with electrical systems, PLCs, motor and motion controls, instrumentation, and industrial automation in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience with power distribution, HMI systems, and industrial control networks
  • Previous food manufacturing experience preferred
  • Strong understanding of electrical schematics and industrial safety standards
